If it is light or no movement, it does not burn.
There is a mode with a motion sensor and there is a mode of easy on, as a lamp for manual control on/off.

Ordered on 6th Oct and received on 18th Oct in Netherlands. Fast delivery. It works as described. It’ll light up in the dark when there’s motion (on auto mode). It’s not glaring bright but bright enough in dark area. I put it in my utility room as there’s no electric point where I can plug in a bulb. I charged to full battery and will see how long it can last.
