Tips:

Q: Can not operate this dash cam when connecting AZDOME Dash Cam with your phone ?
A: To disconnect WiFi, press and hold “Emergency Lock” button for 2-seconds to return to the video mode.
You can only operate it on your phone App when connecting AZDOME Dash Cam with your phone. Make sure your phone is close to AZDOME Dash Cam
Q: Camera showing “Memory Error” or “Please Insert Micro SD Card” even though memory card is already installed into the camera?
A: 1. Be sure to format your TF card with your Dash Cam for optimal use. Failing to format TF card may result in card error.
2. Please make sure memory card is at least Class 10, U3 and purchased from trusted vendor such as Walmart, target, best buy, Ship & Sold by Amazon” etc. (there are many fake cards out there Online, remember if it’s cheap, its fake.
3. Now go to camera’s system settings and FORMAT your memory card. After formatting memory card, please press and hold power button to turn the camera off. Now unplug power cable, and re-plug the power cable, camera should now turn ON automatically and start recording.
Q: Why does this advertise as a 4K dash cam but only captures at 2160?
A: Our camera has the highest resolution of 2880x2160p @24fps with 4:3 aspect ratio.
4K resolution is
4:3 aspect ratio = 2880 x 2160p
16:9 aspect ratio = 3840 x 2160p
The resolution is measured in diagonal range. Which is 2160p.
Notice here that the 2160p is constant.
For example. 1080p resolution is actually 1920 x 1080p. But we don’t call it 1920p. We call it 1080p.
Therefore same way 4K resolution is 2160p.
Q: Install the rear camera?
A: 1.Connect car charger with dash cam and plug into cigarette lighter.
2.Connect rear camera to dash cam. Route your rear camera’s video cable to the front of the car. Depending on your vehicle model, you’ll usually be able to do this by peeling back the automobile’s headliner or side panels and pulling your cable through the exposed chamber.
3.Find out the +12V backtup camera reverse light cable in R-gerar with test pencil.
4.Mount the camera to your license plate. If the camera attaches to the front of your license plate, fix it to the plate.
5.Test the camera to make sure everything works. Before using your new camera on public roads, test it in a safe area like your driveway.
In many cases, rear-view camera malfunctions are caused by loose or improperly connected wires.

Посылка шла в Киев 20 дней. Получил на Укрпочте. Упаковка целая. Почитав отзывы, брал регистратор без камеры заднего вида и карты памяти. Чтобы не вляпаться в проблемы, карту купил отдельно в Розетке на 64Г, SDXC V30, проверенной фирмы Kingston и по акции, а с камерой заднего вида решил пока обождать и проверить на уже имеющейся у меня. Если понравится, то потом докуплю нормальную камеру. По функционалу в основном легко разобраться. Регистратор нормально функционирует с приложением Azdome по WI-FI: читает, скачивает фото и видео, вырезает нужный фрагмент и т.д. По качеству записи изображения вижу недостаток: номер встречной машины на скорости различить сложно, очень размыто – все зависит от освещенности. В статической ситуации не на больших расстояниях проблем нет – все хорошо видно. При работе регистратор нагревается до 39°С. Присоска сделана толково и держит надёжно. В описании на сайте продавца и достаточно подробно изложено возможности и характеристики регистратора.

Сама доставка до квартиры заняла 3 дня. Но вот регистратором разочарован. Аккум держит 2 минуты, нет стабилизации картинки (трясется) и дребезжат кнопки. Перевед на русский коряво выполнен. Много слов на английском остается. Слишком грубая регулировка по вертикали. 3700 не деньги но всеже если нужен нормальный то это от 7000 брать.

Доставка до Астрахани заняла неделю, посылка отслеживалась, курьер доставил до порога. Сохранность посылки в норме (разве что коробка с камерой заднего вида (опция) оказалась слегка помята), с комплектацией все ОК. Зарядка (с двумя портами), кронштейн с присоской (качественный, только жалко, что регик вставляется в паз, а не магнитится), мануал (есть русский), инструмент для подковыривания обшивки при прокладке кабеля, держалки кабеля на 2-стороннем скотче и даже открытка с пожеланием наслаждаться умным вождением. Опционально доступна камера заднего вида – кроме штекера, который подключается к видеорегистратору, на ней есть провода для доп. питания, так, что по всей видимости придется припаивать USB штекер. Эту камеру я пока не стал подключать, а про качество записи основной камеры – см. дальше, тут уже не хватает места.

Первые тесты показали неспособность чтения номеров на закате. Приходится играться с экспозицией, но это не решение – при уменьшении освещённости всё чёрное. Буду покупать фльтр, возможно поможет.

Это третий такой регистратор, купленный в этом магазине. Полностью его проверил, все работает. С доставкой в обозначенные при оформлении сроки не укладываются, задержка доставки два дня. Ordered ship to USA on late Thursday night, delivered at noon time Monday. Less than 4 full days! This is even shorter than the promised 7 days. The camera is actually smaller than it seems to be on the photos and I actually like it better. Not the easiest product to operation but all of these small electronic devices have the same problem. Once learned, operating it is easy. This product supports 128G memory card, which is double of what described in the production specification here. Only tried to record/play back indoor. Need to take it out and install on the car to test. To summarize, well built product. Recommended.
